Staff were lovely, family run hotel right on the river our window looked across the river and mountains! Lovely to wake up to! Decent room.

There was a LOT of noise more or less all night and started very early, loads of Vietnamese men staying in the rooms next door Being so noisy, woke us up and literally couldn't sleep. The noise really let it down for us! It's a way out of town so we expected quiet!

The view of the river was a surprise

This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. There were all sorts of insects in my room, in the bed and linens, and in the bathroom. It was extremely noisy. The first night I stayed, I think I was the only one which was eerie. The second night there was an enormous group that took over the entire place and I did not feel welcome. They keep your passports upon check in and at check out it took about 10 minutes to find mine. Not a good feeling.

The family were all lovely and extremely welcoming.

The family were all lovely and extremely welcoming. The couple couldn't speak much English but they were always very friendly and daughter was brilliant at English so that made up for it (and she's a great singer!). They picked us up from our bus free of charge which was a nice touch. They also gave us bananas and biscuits when we were relaxing in the lobby. The room was very spacious and clean. Amazing views out the front and back of the hotel and just a short walk to the river. Couldn't ask for much more given the cheap price.

We couldn't get the TV to work properly. We could have done with a blanket over our sheets as it got quite cold at night. Wifi only works in the lobby.

The staff were very helpful with organizing the trips in the area. The hotel is on the river.

Most of the comunication was done with google translate. A little far from the center. Breakfast could be better.

The staff were smiley on arrival although aside from the daughter of the owner who was a young teenager no one spoke English. We had pre agreed that we would check in at 5am but there wasn't avalibility so we were given a temp room so we could sleep after journey. Decent air con and the rooms were quite clean over all.

The beds didn't have proper mattress they had three rock hard pieces laying horizontally across the bed. The shower room was joint to another room so the wall wasn't full height so you could hear the people in the bathroom next door, they also kept their light on all night and as it was a glass door this meant our bedroom was light all night. No tours or assistance was given by staff. The hotel is one of the last on the street away from any restaurents or bars - it was intimidating to walk back do not book if you are a lone traveller esp female. On the last night we explained that we had to leave at 0430 so we paid before bed. When we tried to leave all of the doors were locked up so we couldn't get out, we knocked on the door were we knew some staff slept and they tried to shut the door of their room in our faces just shouting in Vietnamese eventually the lady owner came to open the door meaning we had to hurry for our transport.

The view from my room was spectacular . The room was large and clean. Most of the staff did no speak much English .

Apart from serving me breakfast the staff showed not much interest in me. No hot water. The hotel is located some distance from the main town area.
